SYDNEY AI AND TECH EVENT PARTICIPATION RECORD
MLAI editorial aid — 10 September 2026

This file is editable text, not an RSVP or live event feed. It does not save
the website filters. Review the organiser before registration and travel.
Sources need rechecking by 17 September 2026, 00:00 Australia/Sydney, or sooner
if changed. Do not reuse this snapshot as a current availability claim.

COMPLETED FICTIONAL EXAMPLE — NOT AN ATTENDEE ACCOUNT
Reader: Alex, a Sydney developer seeking free, hands-on team building.
Capacity: Friday evening and Saturday, 4–5 December 2026.
Candidate: AI Engineer Sydney Hackathon, Web Directions with MLAI.
Source: https://webdirections.org/ai-engineer/hack-day/
Checked: 10 September 2026. Recheck due: 17 September, 00:00 AEST.
Listed format/price: Sydney in person, free; limited places.
Venue: dedicated page says Stone & Chalk, Sydney; programme hub says TBA.
Unknowns: exact address/hours, access, equipment, team rules, actual admission.
Question: What are the team/demo requirements, and what should I bring?
Decision: shortlist pending answers; no non-refundable travel booked.
RSVP submitted: no. Admission confirmed: no.
Not the same offer: the separately paid conference/streaming pass.
No paid work, job, portfolio permission or customer outcome is assumed.

COUNTEREXAMPLE
A free online request does not match the free in-person hackathon or a past
Zoom seminar. An honest no-match is better than substituting a paid stream.
